Well, here we are at
June 28th
just 30 days from
July 28th
the one date that I have ever picked.

Yep,
mid-morning EST
not that any man knows the hour -
or the day.

Mark
13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which
are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

13:33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

And I have to admit -
things do look relatively calm.
A truce of sorts -
over in Israel.

Bush and Rice trying
to talk pretty
with Iran (and North Korea).

Although the Dow down
a bit at the end of the week -
still within the range it has been
for weeks, months almost years.

Asian markets down a bit -
and the phrase being repeated
several times during the day
that oil is up
because of continued expected declines
in the dollar.

But really -
the dollar is still pretty steady-
around 72 and holding
where it has been for several months.

Oh, lots of bad economic indicators -
about the banks -
consumer confidence -
mortgages -
foreclosures -
house prices -
gas prices -
etc., etc., etc. -
but that isn't anything
that I could call news.
It has been that way for weeks.

Nope, the world seems to be
just continuing to rock -
or perhaps said better -
limp along.
Nothing to indicate anything particular
regarding the next 28th.

AND -
I have NO IDEA as to what may occur
to set things off.
I don't think there is ANYONE
planning something for that date.
Unexpected things will just happen.

At some point -
someone, somewhere,
will push a button -
in response to something.
They may not even be fully thinking -
or understanding the consequences.

To what minute - or hour -
one may point to -
will depend on how far down the totem -
you wish to point as being
the 'immediate' cause.

At some point -
someone (many someones)
will note the effect -
and someone will announce it.
If you are where -
you can survive the initial events -
and where you can hear the announcement -
then you will probably mark the time -
as to when you  hear it.
That will certainly be one perspective.

This all applies -
to whenever the HOUR comes.
(In a spiritual sense - it is already past.)
But of course -
I don't KNOW when you will mark it to be -
because nothing is ever definite -
until it occurs.
In this contingent world -
there is always change -
and the possibility of change -
even with the stars in their orbits.

I don't think the stars - planets -
nor the sun and moon
control the destiny of man -
although day and night
have their daily effect.
The dark of the moon -
June 30 - July 5
July 30 - 2 Aug
Aug 29 - 1 Sep
holds strategic significance
in the minds of some.

Other dates hold significance
in the minds of those who expect
terrorist acts
false flag events
pre-election or post-election scenarios
Islamic actions -
and so forth.

August 8:
	Opening of Olympics in China
August 24:
 	Closing of Olympics in China
	Beginning of AILA Conference Essen, Germany
	(Important to me -
	because I am scheduled to be there.)
August 25:
	Start of Democratic National Convention,
	Denver Colorado
August 28:
	End of Democratic National Convention
August 29:
	End of AILA Conference
September 1:
	Start of Republican National Convention,
	Saint Paul Minnesota.
	Start of Ramadan fasting month
September 4:
	End of Republican National Convention,
October 1:
	End of Ramadan fasting month
November 4:
	U.S. Presidential Election
January 20:
	U.S. Presidential Inauguration

There are also the concerns
always surrounding
Christmas
Thanksgiving
the special days of other religions
and big public events.

There are always the possibility
of conflict flare-ups with
Turkey
Hezbollah
Hamas
Syria
Iran
Afghanistan
Pakistan / India
and dozens of others -
and of course there are any number
of financial and other crises that can strike -
such that we are often looking towards Monday -
after a disastrous closing week
in the financial markets.

Any of the items immediately above -
plus all the many scenarios
such as the Israel air attack drills -
could effect my July 28th date -
but I have no idea what will happen -
and imagine that it will be -
something that I don't imagine.

Still,
picking and sticking with a date -
is weird.
Even if I got visions -
or revealed prophecies -
or had dreams -
none of which applies to me -
I would still be in the position of Jonah.

Jonah went and prophesied to Nineveh -
their coming destruction -
as he was directed to by the Lord.
The people of Nineveh repented -
and the Lord forgave them -
and did not destroy it.

So then Jonah: -
4:2 And he prayed unto the LORD, and said, I pray thee, O LORD, was not this
my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I fled before unto
Tarshish: for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to
anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.

You may remember -
Jonah ended up in the belly of a whale -
before he went and did what he was told.
Now, then,
I haven't been told by the Lord -
to tell anyone the 28th -
and as my daddy used to say -
this is my 'fish' story -
so make of it what you will.

I can, however, tell you this -
that I don't think that I am in any danger
that America is on the verge of repenting -
or any of the rest of the world either.

Aside from the above fish story -
there are other things
that seem a bit fishy to me:

Last week
two of the top US Generals
went to Israel.
Up until six months ago -
it had been years since any generals
in their positions had gone there.

Now - suddenly -
not only that -
but the talk coming out of Israel -
and the assurances that Olmert says -
that he has been given by Bush -
that the Iran problem will be resolved -
BEFORE Bush leaves office -
and the fact that on -
June 22,
the USS Ronald Reagan Strike Group
was instructed to sail
from Hong Kong to the Persian Gulf
with 7,000 men on board

This includes Carrier Strike Group 7,
Carrier Air Wing 14,
Destroyer Squadron 7,
USS Ronald Reagan,
guided missile cruiser USS Chancellorsville,
guided missile destroyers USS Decatur,
USS Gridley and USS Howard,
guided missile frigate USS Thach
fast combat support ship USNS Rainer.

The USS Abraham Lincoln Strike Group
is sitting there already
waiting for the Reagan to join it,
as well as some others -
including the French -
nearby.

You don't want to read
the long, long list -
of aircraft squadrons and wings -
and the types of aircraft involved -
and the types of weapons they are carrying.

Nor do you want to hear about
the submarine deployments
and the readyment of long distance
bomber strike forces
that can reach Iran in hours.
This list just goes on and on -
but maybe all this -
and the generals going to Israel -
and the Israelis practicing
long range refuelling attack strategies -
are nothing but regular day-to-day activity.

Still,
I remember the first time
that we were raided -
and eleven police / emergency vehicles
pulled up to my driveway at the house
to collect me
while we were having lunch.

Kinda makes me think -
if Ahmadinejad seeing all this
might be affected in the same way
and think someone was planning a party.

Nope -
I have NO IDEA of how or what
is going to happen.
Just when.
July 28th.
And of course we will both have to admit -
that is crazy.
But -
that is my story.
And I am sticking with it.

Meanwhile -
back at the Ark -
so many miracles happened yesterday -
that I can't count them.

Bottom line is -
that we are still here.
Mortgage is 'current' -
well sort of -
and it looks that we may even be able
to come up with the $450 electric bill
that we have gotten behind on.

Started out in the morning -
that my wife said -
"Well, we only have $8 left in the bank
for next month."
Then manna started to fall from heaven.

Had to call to cancel the car insurance
because old 89 car wouldn't pass the e-test -
and has to come off the road
by mid-night Monday.
Insurance company told me
the automatic insurance deduction
for next month -
would be reduced to $45 for the one month
(because somehow each time prepays).
We still have the 84 pickup -
and may get daughter's 89 car.

Mortgage manager figured out a miracle
to put past due mortgage payments
to balloon at end of mortgage -
(which keeps Citi from showing us in default).

Friend switched over to natural gas -
(they finally got the line to his place)
so he gave us a months supply of firewood
which Jean and I spent the week chopping up
and put the last in the garage at 9:30 last night.

Holder of a post-dated check
agreed to hold it until next months check comes in.

Day before a very poor friend riding with me
gave me $20 for gas for the car.
The tank was on empty -
but I have the mower can with us
in case we run out.
I didn't fill the tank -
since we have to park the car anyway -
and then someone told me
that I owed them $20 for something -
and miraculously there was the $20 in my billfold.

Miracles are miracles
to those who experience them.
It is like finding money
in the mouths of fishes
as was the story with Jesus
when He said:

Matthew 17:27 Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the
sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when
thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and
give unto them for me and thee.

I tell you these stories -
not that you may think
how poor we are -
but rather how blessed we are -
for I truly cannot count
all the blessings that come to us.

This week we received a bounteous blessing
of heritage seed
that we shall store away
for what we assume will be others
in time of need.

I would be pleased to still have
more heritage corn -
but if any of you happen to have some extra -
I have friend in the US
who supplies to a considerable number of Natives -
and who is very short on corn seed.
We are talking about heritage seed.
I think treated would be fine with him -
it would be with me.

Anyway - if you have some extra -
and are willing to share it -
please let me know
and I will give you his address.
