[Arktwo] I am so disappointed :)

Well, 
the 28th came and went - 
the world over 
without nuclear WW3 occurring. 

Of course - 
no one WANTS nuclear WW3 - 
but since I think that it is inevitable -
I would have liked it 
at my convenience. 

People have blown my expectation 
out of proportion. 
I have repeatedly told people 
that I am NOT a prophet - 
and I don't KNOW the day or hour. 

However, 
I had to pick a date, 
and that is the date that I picked. 
Many people would like to come 
visit the Ark - 
and many would like to be here 
on THAT day. 

Months ago - 
for many reasons - 
that are non-meaningful 
to most of my readers - 
I picked a window in late July 
or early August - 
and then the particular date 
so that Ark Two members 
could schedule their vacations 
for that date - 
and that we could gather together 
and accomplish Ark Two tasks. 

I am so disappointed - 
that the event didn't transpire 
while they were here - 
because the individuals 
are one of the greatest assets 
in our preparation. 
Among them are the shift commanders 
that are needed to run Ark Two 
during the event. 

But - 
I couldn't say a longer time period 
(ideally - I would have everyone here all the time) 
and so we had to select a date 
to assemble. 

We had over twenty assemble - 
eleven being over-nighters from a distance - 
and the rest being daytimers.

We accomplished a lot - 
and once more I can say - 
that Ark Two has achieved 
a new state of readiness. 

Unfortunately - 
it was more ready on the 28th - 
than today - 
because we had more people here. 
Still - 
the get together served a purpose, 
in that it increased our preparation - 
and none of those who came 
count the trip as a loss. 

We had a Master Beekeeper - 
at our agricultural meeting - 
and many thought the trip worthwhile 
for that alone. 

Our water settling tank 
is now repaired - 
and the 5,000 gallon water storage tank 
topped off. 
Water samples were sent in this (Wednesday) morning -
from 5 different locations of our water system.
We have 
2 springs (and two Water-rams not hooked up)
1 well (8 feet in diameter -
	53 feet deep to the water - 
	blasted through rock)
2 well pumps
500 gallon water settling tank
5,000 gallon drinking water storage tank
pressure tank system and its pump
4 hot water tanks (2-80 gallon 2-60 gallon) 
4 showers 
Decontamination tub 
Decontamination sink 
5 laundry tubs 
Several kitchen double sinks 
and MANY toilets and lavatories. 

I should mention in this regards - 
the septic pumping tank 
plus the industrial Type IV septic tank 
(like those used for Motels) 
and the gravity fed septic holding tank. 

All of these systems were activated 
and checked out. 
There are also equally extensive 
air and fuel systems. 
Many motors for such things as 
conveyors 
fans 
exhausts 
and gardening equipment. 
Each and every one was checked 
to be in good working condition. 

You can see why it takes so many people 
and why we need to get so many together 
to do all the tasks. 
We also spent many hours 
bush-hogging 
working on the gardens 
taking care of the worm farms 
filling the 36 cells on the storage batteries,
and getting the trucks and trailers into position. 

Others have scheduled to come 
this coming weekend - 
and the weekend following. 
We could use twenty people here 
every weekend - 
but I had to select one date - 
and in my eyes - 
I blew it - 
but everyone knew - 
that I didn't know.

I am absolutely astounded 
at how prepared we are - 
but I am not going to brag about it. 
People just wouldn't understand 
many of the things 
that we have felt that we need to do 
for preparation. 

Ark Two is not designed 
as a survival community - 
but rather as a Reconstruction Community. 
Our goal for it is to be the nucleus 
for the reconstruction of society around us. 

The village itself is situated 
in an agricultural area. 
A number of homes in the village 
are occupied by members of our extended family 
and other people who are supportive of the Ark. 
In talking about the water system 
I should have mentioned the water truck 
with its five spigots 
to deliver water into the village if necessary. 

We are very blessed with a nearby 
start-up from black hydro dam 
and dozens of gigantic windmills 
that generate electricity. 

We are not located near 
any large bodies of water - 
prime military targets - 
or major population areas 
that are within walking distance. 
Nor is our area considered 
an earthquake area. 
Location, location, location. 

People visiting our home 
undoubtedly find it very unusual - 
with the carpeted gardens - 
two worm farms in the dining room 
and an old fashioned wood cook stove. 

Our kitchen is piled high with boxes - 
containing KI pills for 5,000 children -
for thirty days - 
and in our freezer are further doses 
for 3,000 adults 
for the same period of time. 

We have 300 send-away kits 
each containing radiation detection equipment - 
that should be sufficient for 3,000 adults. 
I could go on and on - 
about our preparations - 
but I realize that most people 
just call me a crazy old coot. 

Still - 
there is more interest than before. 
Many State TEAM Leaders have written to me 
that they have had more requests 
for the free cd in the last two weeks 
than at anytime before.
AND - 
it has nothing to do 
with my expectations / hopes for the 28th. 

These people from around the world 
requesting the CD 
don't get my newsletter 
and knew nothing about the date. 
Many more people in the world 
are beginning to sense 
that something is afoot. 

Coincidently, 
we now once again have TEAM Leaders 
in all 50 states of the U.S. 
plus more countries have been added.

The several week window of expectation 
about which I centered my choice date 
of the 28th - 
remains open for another 12 days - 
and then will rapidly close. 

Afterwards, of course - 
another window will open. 
Many people speculate 
regarding many things. 
For example - 
the timing in regards to the US election. 
That Olmert is resigning in Israel - 
and that Netanyahu is the leading favorite there. 
That certain conditions and events 
are expected in the financial markets in September - 
and of course the usual timings 
with the Islamic Holy Days - 
the new moons, 
US holidays - 
and so forth.

As disappointed as I am in the date I picked - 
I still have hopes for my window paradigm - 
but if that does not happen either - 
then I will of course simply have to pick another. 

Unless one holds such expectations - 
one does not prepare. 
Those who looked forward to the 29th 
with the greatest eagerness 
so that they could ridicule me 
the most loudly - 
for the most part have not prepared 
for anyone in great number 
other than themselves - 
if they have even done that. 

But anyway - 
as a result of selecting the 28th deadline - 
we are now better prepared 
here at Ark Two. 
I can only trust - 
that was the Lord's will, 
since He has not told me 
when the event will be.

Since it didn't occur on the 28th - 
then that was not the Lord's will - 
and I should be very grateful 
and pleased with that - 
because I should not wish for anything - 
that is not the Lord's will. 

The last of our visitors left today - 
and now I must begin to prepare 
for the possible eventuality 
that I am going to have to fulfill 
my responsibility and obligation 
to go to Germany the last week in August 
to make the World Language Process presentation 
at the AILA Conference. 

A double intensity of effort. 
Preparing for the Conference - 
and the continued preparation of Ark Two - 
in face of the fact the 28th event window is still open. 

Indeed - 
those events 
that I observed months ago 
leading up to the 28th 
are continuing to intensify. 

The world economic / financial systems 
are continuing to shatter 
although the dollar and Dow remain high.
Iran continues to snub its nose 
at the UN, US, and Europe 
regarding the operation of its centrifuges 
and has brought even more on-line. 

Russian military armaments 
are flowing into Iran 
at an ever increasing rate - 
and Iranian armaments 
to Hezbollah in Lebanon - 
and Hamas in the Gaza.

The US, UK and French fleet positionings - 
have not been reversed - 
but have been only strengthened, 
while US Congressional committees / spokesmen 
and so forth - 
have been making increasingly pessimistic statements 
regarding the situation in Iran. 

Any day - 
some unexpected event may happen. 
Late in the day on the 28th - 
there was a skirmish between Pakistan and India - 
if which it had happened 
earlier in the day - 
would have had all of us saying - 
"Uh-oh". 

Who, what, when, where, how 
it will be set off  - 
I have repeatedly stated - 
that I have no idea. 

I can only look at events 
and speculate - 
but sometimes circumstances seem 
more probable / possible to me 
than others. 
That is the situation that we remain in -
for the next couple of weeks. 

As I have repeatedly said - 
I had to pick one specific date - 
to try to have as many as I could - 
here at Ark Two - 
and I blew it. 
But - 
God knows best - 
for all of us - 
and I can only do the best - 
that I can do. 

Those that ridicule me 
will have a field day - 
but it goes with the territory 
of trying to provide this service 
to others.
