[Arktwo] Last Newsletter prior 28th

This will probably be the last newsletter
that I write prior to the 28th.

The 28th is now only a week away -
and we are busy, busy, busy.

For awhile
I had been saying -
WW3 at the end of July -
but then on May 24th I picked a date.

"(I currently have a date of July 28th.)"

Had to pick a date -
because I wanted to gather
as many people here as possible.
I don't KNOW these things -
and it COULD be earlier -
or later.

Followers of a popular prophet
by the name of Weinland
were all astir that he had prophesied
June 15th.

June 8th I said:

"everywhere I looked
there were only contra-indications
Anyway -
June 15th is okay with me.
That really fits into my paradigm
just as well as July 28th.
Weinland says that if it doesn't happen
on the 15th -
then he will declare himself a false prophet.

I don't have that problem -
because I am not a prophet -
false or otherwise.
I don't get revelations, visions, or whatever -
and I don't KNOW that it is going to happen
on July 28th.
I have picked that date
through an altogether different process.
Still -
that is my date -
and I am sticking with it.

June 22nd I stated:

And yes,
I am still saying -
July 28th.
This is the one and only time
that I have ever picked a date.
I had windows of expectation before -
that were usually years
and sometimes months in advance -
but this is the one and only time -
that I have picked a date.

June 28th I continued:

Well, here we are at
June 28th
just 30 days from
July 28th
the one date that I have ever picked.

Yep,
mid-morning EST
not that any man knows the hour -
or the day.

And I have to admit -
things do look relatively calm.
A truce of sorts -
over in Israel.

Bush and Rice trying
to talk pretty
with Iran (and North Korea).

Although the Dow down
a bit at the end of the week -
still within the range it has been
for weeks, months almost years.

Then on June 29th I said:

we are still here -
until the 28th

Today - July 20th -
and we are still here
until the 28th.

But we are so busy -
that I doubt that I will have time
to repeat myself again.

Of course -
on the 29th -
I may also be able to say that we are still here -
but it may still be a while
before you would hear from me -
because I hope that we will still have
a number of people here.

Days after the 28th -
still fit my paradigm -
but I had to pick a date
for the gathering -
and several amazing things occurred
to fit that exact date.

Meaningless to anyone else -
unless you are in my paradigm.
Most people -
97%
don't think nuclear WW3 is imminent -
or even that it will ever occur.

I have received phone calls this week
assuring me
that the Lord won't permit
nuclear WW3 to occur.
But -
I am sticking with the 28th.

The Lord hasn't assured me -
one way or the other -
but He has certainly blessed me -
always.
If I hadn't been given the imminent expectation -
and a feeling of urgency
many years ago -
the Ark would never have been built.

Over the years we have made
astounding advances in its preparedness.
Some astounding ones in the last year.
Oftentimes though -
things don't workout as I think they will.
That doesn't mean that they don't workout well -
but rather -
that what I was urgently doing -
had a different purpose than what I thought.

Anyway -
this week -
I am urgently getting the shelter ready
for the 28th.
The first and only time -
that I have had a date.

Two friends here early in the week -
to repair the leak
in the water settling tank.
Did an admirable job with a fibre glass patch.

Grandson has been a big help
for the last several days.
Among many other things -
scrubbed out the 500 gallon settling tank -
(a big job)
and checked the water level
in the 5000 gallon storage / holding tank
(not as easy a task as you might think).

Other friends came today
to help put new foot valves -
on the two well pumps.
Still lots of things like this to do.
We have to replace one valve
and prime all the pumps.
The well needs to be shocked -
pumped out - allowed to refill -
and then the about three thousand gallons of water
need to be pumped.

Time and fuel.
Concerned that I don't have enough of either.
One friend gave us $20 towards fuel today -
and even with the day tank being 80% down-
there are greater priorities.

Another friend from the US has paid a rental deposit
on a big self-propelled bush-hog
to use while they are here the 28th weekend.
Still other friends from the states -
bringing other tools for that time.

We have scheduled a top notch
bee expert
to come to talk with us Sunday afternoon the 27th -
to get some more
of our agriculturally inclined individuals
to come on that weekend.

We still have less than a quarter
of next years wood supply
stored in the shed
and I would like to get more of that done
during the coming week.

The world news
seems more and more peaceful.
The US has a representative
attending peace talks in Iran.
They met this week -
and are to meet again in two weeks.
Iranian vice-president said yesterday -
that Iran is the friend of the US and Israel.

The Prime Minister of Israel
said last week
that peace with the Palestinians
has never been so close.

The price of oil went down 10% this week -
which they called a 'plummet'.
Lots of optimism there.

Stock market dipped below 11K point -
but then recovered -
and the dollar has stayed in the 72 range -
for months and months.

Lots and lots of good headlines
about how the financial crisis is past -
and by googling ABCP
I can't find a single thing on it.

Oh, there are lots of prophets
of financial doom out there -
if you look in the right places for them -
but the MSM is not one of them.

Three things have occurred in my life
to absolutely astound me as to
how controlled the press is.
This ABCP thing is one of them.

Google -
whose slogan used to be
"Do No Evil"
has become very evil.

But no matter -
the good news rolls on.
Many news analysts / world prognosticators
geopolitical theorists / and the rest of our ilk -
have now opined that attacking Iran -
is off the table.

The US has pulled back its Carriers -
and not one of those big ladies
is left in the Gulf.
Timetables are being set
for winding down in Iraq.

North Korea has destroyed
some of its nuclear facilities.
Syria is talking with the IAEA.

China is clearing its skies
for the Olympics.
The news is all about peace.

Ehud Barak in Israel said
about three weeks ago:

I think Iran is finally realizing that the US and Israel do intend to attack
and are trying to forestall the war. Today, they changed their recalcitrant
stance and decided to accept the group of 5 + 1 offer to suspend enrichment
temporarily and talk. I think this is a stalling tactic rather than a real
turning point, so we'll have to see how the US reacts. If the US dismisses
Iran's acceptance on minor grounds, then we will know the administration is
not serious about avoiding war. Iran may be trying to stall just long enough
for Russia's newest anti-aircraft missile systems to be installed.

Then about two weeks ago- 05/07/2008
from Reuters:

Iran has officially responded to the package of incentives to halt its
nuclear program, the New York Times reported on Saturday.

Officials said that the response to the proposal does not address the
request of the permanent members of the United Nations Security Council and
the European Union that Iran suspend its uranium enrichment activities.

Then this last week -
at the meeting with the US in Iran -
Iran once again said -
it will not stop enrichment.

Everyone seemed to say -
"Oh well,
that is okay. -
we can talk again in a couple of weeks."
