Do you remember the song -
'Where have all the good nukes gone?'
Then there was the movie -
'Five Alive'.
But where?
Oh, well.
Questions we aren't supposed to ask.
As anticipated -
the PPT did its thing this morning.
Hopped right in there
and got the market off to a good start -
and then from mid-afternoon
a mighty battle to make sure it ended up
positive.
How many, many times
we have seen that pattern.
As expected also -
Petraeus jumped right in there
to do battle with Congress
on behalf of Bush.
He is undoubtedly
a dedicated patriot
and a true believer -
but I am just not certain in what.

Futurist Two
This a continuation of the presentation
of my futurist predictions -
that I began in the previous newsletter.
One can envision any number
of possible futures.
In 'The Paper'
www.webpal.org/reconstruction.pdf
or
www.webpal.org/reconstruction.htm
I present a plan for an utopian future,
which although I do not expect it to be achieved
on a universal level -
it will still be the means
for ameliorating the effects of nuclear war
if applied locally -
and the more broadly it is applied -
the greater will be its benefit.
One might also speculate about
a 'Buck Rogers' type of future -
where technology would permit this planet
to support a hundred billion people
by making it a gravity well
maintaining the orbits of massive satellites
that would be the dwellings of most of humanity
where they would have a 24/7 sun energy source
beyond the curvature and atmosphere
of the earth.
Dream on.
All such dreams -
are about as probable
as the physical opening of the graves -
in my opinion.
But -
there are a series of events
that I do feel to have high probability.
These are determined by Divine Destiny
and man's nature, history and potential.
In describing future events -
I break them into:
short term - (the next year or two)
medium term - (the next century or so)
long term - (a matter of millennia).
Surprisingly,
I think my longer term expectations
are more definite -
than the shorter term ones -
because the latter are more specific -
but let us begin here
with what I see as six stages
in the short term:
In Stage One:
I think that the current situation with:
1. the US monetary system
2. the financial markets
3. the conflict between the Administration and Congress
4. Syria and Israel
5. Hamas in the Gaza
6. instability in Pakistan
7. and the Iran nuke situation
will deteriorate drastically
during the next month.
Seven is a large number of items
to be on such a serious downslide
in such a short period of time.
However,
and whenever,
and for whatever reason -
I think that within
the next six weeks
we will arrive at
Stage Two:
where additional armed conflict
will breakout in the Middle East.
Most likely involving
Israel, Syria, Iran, and the US.
Over a matter of hours
or two or three days at the most -
this will escalate
to massive bombing of Iran -
and the possible use of
what will be described as 'tactical nukes' -
which will actually be more powerful
than those used on Japan.
Stage Three:
Escalation will be rapid into
full-out nuclear WW3
with the bombing of American cities.
Stage Four:
The duration of nuclear WW3
will likely be
only a matter of hours
or at most three or four days.
Stage Five:
Nuclear WW3 will be shortened
by Divine Intervention -
in a manner that will seem quite natural.
We are not talking about
legions of angels appearing in the sky
but more likely something like
a world-wide earthquake.
One far-out speculation that I have had
is that the planet may physically flip
on its axis.
Stage Six:
Will be,
I hope for us at Ark Two,
a somewhat dormant shelter stage
of three to six weeks.
I feel that my announcing my expectations
regarding these imminent six stages -
is the furtherest out thing
about my futurest model -
and the most UNLIKELY
to occur when and how I have expressed.
Nevertheless,
it is the model upon which
the present day-to-day activities
at Ark Two are based.
If and when the events don't occur -
people can simply say -
there was that crazy old Beach again -
just as they have
so many times for the last fifty years.
The timing of any of that
and the means by which it occurs
is really of no importance
to my overall futurist model.
What is important to the model
rather than the immediate specific timing
is that I anticipate:
a. There will be a nuclear WW3
b. Eighty percent of the world's population
will perish
because of the follow-on Great Calamity
and because of social disruption
disease, starvation and so forth.
The surviving world population
will be most desirous
of not going through again
what will have transpired.
Even more so,
than they were after WW1 and WW2
when they formed the League of Nations
and the United Nations -
they will be inclined to come together
and form some sort of new world order
that will eliminate the scourge of war.
This will require the nations
relinquishing their absolute sovereignties
and agreeing to limiting the amount of arms
that they can maintain.
To achieve such an arrangement
will require that the remnant governments
of the nations
meet in a world conference
probably in the environs of the
remnant of New York -
since that was where the United Nations was based -
but they will soon select a permanent seat
outside of the US -
and very possibly in Jerusalem -
because only by making that an International City
can they eliminate the conflict that exists there.
I hope and expect all this to be accomplished
in less than two years
after the end of the WW3 conflict.
Every proposal and effort will be considered
for those things which hold a promise
of increasing the harmony of mankind.
Dear to my heart
is the thought that China will still be encouraged
to hold the next Olympics
since according to my timetable
they will have been deprived of holding
what is presently scheduled.
I hope also
in that connection
that humanity will also -
through the new organization
established in Jerusalem -
select a Universal Auxiliary Language
to first be implemented at that Olympics.
These are but my personal dreams and timetables -
and we really have no idea of what is in store -
or how or when.
The timing of any of this
and the means by which it occurs
is really of no importance
to my overall futurist model.
What is important to the model
rather than the specific timing
is that I anticipate:
1. There will be established a world government -
most likely based in Jerusalem -
2. That it will take positive actions
for increasing the harmony of humanity
such as:
a. Encouraging things like the Olympics
b. Selecting an official Universal Auxiliary Language
c. Establishing firm boundaries among the nations
d. Setting limits on permitted armaments
e. Providing a court for settling international disputes
f. Enforcing its decisions
The world government
will greatly increase its efficiency
in the first few decades
in establishing such things as
a world currency,
standards for weights and measures,
and regulatory bodies
for things like air traffic control
and commerce between countries.
The speed and efficiency
with which these things will occur
is not a matter of specific prediction here.
What we should be more concerned about
is the quality of life of the individual survivors.
For decades,
even centuries,
there may remain as much a disparity
as exists today.
Geographic,
cultural,
technological distinctions
will perhaps at first contribute
to even greater variance than we have today,
although in some respects -
nuclear war will be a great leveller.
But, that again,
is not my concern here.
Elsewhere
I have extensively covered
the means for the reinstitution of technological society.
Whether this is done
in one or two decades
or whether it takes a century
makes little difference
in the long run scheme of things.
It shouldn't take more than one or two decades
when one looks at what was accomplished
in the century just past.
The research has all been done
and the information should remain
to restore the present technological society
in a matter of a very few decades.
What is much more important
is the social reconstruction of society -
and that will be much more difficult.
In this case it is not a matter
of just putting back what presently exists -
because THAT is the problem.
To replace a world society
that is materialistic,
immoral,
unjust both socially and economically,
with broad spectrums of ignorance
and poverty
among its population
with another just like itself
would eventually lead to the same conclusion.
In the concluding part of this series
I will present my predictions
as to the future
regarding what the Divine Purpose
of the world holocaust was in the first place.
Peace and love,
Bruce
