Bah, bah blacksheep. -
Yes, six bags full.
Some say six -
some say five.
Either way -
EACH ONE was more powerful
than 10 Hiroshimas.
I am talking about the
loose nuke story of course.
Have been sent -
and have read tens of thousands of words
about it.
Was it an accident?
Highly improbable.
The more that I read what
military nuclear arms specialists say -
about procedures -
the more I conclude -
HIGHLY IMPROBABLE.
Was it real?
Most likely.
Happens all the time?
No, and while NEVER
is a very strong word -
I would say closer to NEVER.
Bush / Cheney knew?
I don't know -
but someone knew.
They were just 'threatening' Iran?
Not likely.
I think Bush is now beyond threatening -
and that Iran is beyond being threatened.
Nothing to get excited about?
Someone wrote that
seeing a B-52 leaving Minot AFB
or landing in Barksdale,
is like seeing a uniformed postal worker
walking into the post-office.
My reply was -
"Yeah, but this uniformed postal worker
was carrying a loaded shotgun
under each arm."
Isn't it betrayal of America
to be leaking this and similar stories
that we have been seeing the last few days?
That is the current mentality among many -
blame and punish the whistleblowers.
What if it is a counterplot to discredit Bush?
Interesting concept.
A set-up.
To make him look bad.
To try to defang the move on Iran.
But nope -
the PTB would be all over that.
False Flag - Conspiracy and all that stuff?
Not going there.
Those who hold such opinions -
all have what they consider logical arguments -
but this whole scenario is not reasonable.
Enough said by me.
You don't need to hear tens of thousands of words
from me
on this subject.
They are all over - elsewhere.
---------
On God's side
Saw a comment this week -
where Ahmadinejad had said
that God was on Iran's side.
Then I read a follow up comment
by an American
who said sarcastically -
"Hmmm. God on one side -
the greatest most powerful military
the world has ever known -
on the other side.
Tough call."
I think that he was
sarcastically saying
that the US military could
beat God -
and I know that many Americans
demeaningly refer to the Muslims
as having a Moon God.
The idea
of whether to rely upon Allah
(which means the All or Only)
or Mammon the god of materiality -
is the age old struggle of humanity.
Long before the Bible was compiled
the issue was the theme
in the Bahagavad Gita -
a Book of the Hindus.
There -
Arjuna who is hero of the story
is offered by Krishna - God - Christ
(or at least what some think is
a root word for Christ) -
whether in a battle
that Arjuna was about to have to undertake -
the choice of God's Legions of Angels -
or that Krishna would ride in Arjuna's chariot
with him.
Arjuna chose Krishna.
It is a choice that we all should make.
Win or lose -
choose God -
because God will always do
what is best for you -
and contrary to the opinion
of some human generals -
winning may not be the only thing,
or even the best thing.
Our question should not be -
on whose side God is -
but rather -
are we on the side of God?
About whether we are on the side of God -
we should always be open to challenge.
Most of the world
does not feel that the US
(in its separation of Church from State)
is motivated by service to God.
Most of the people in the world -
do not feel that the US has fought
the great battles that it has fought
and extended its military might
throughout the world
because of a desire to serve God -
or to benefit the masses of people
in the countries
where those battles have been fought.
There are some people that feel
that if but a tiny fraction
of US military expenditure
and what the US has made
selling arms to other countries
had been spent instead
assuring literacy,
basic medical care,
sufficient diet,
and so forth -
that the world could have been made
a paradise.
Others argue
that the resulting population explosion
would have destroyed the world already -
and the US is not it brother's keeper.
They see the directives of Jesus -
to love love thy enemies -
and to bless those who persecute you
as being at most individual
rather than national directives.
The idea among all religions,
including Jews, Christians, Muslims, and Hindus,
that God could love all His children equally,
no matter what their religion -
just does not set well with them.
The purpose of religion -
or in joining any particular religion -
should not be so that God will love us better -
but so that we may love God better.
Each of us should choose
whatever religion
that will allow us to love God best.
The question in our search should be -
is there some religion
that God has provided / revealed
that best lets us serve Him.
Each person must make -
or should make -
that search and decision for themself.
Not what they want of God -
but rather what God wants of them.
If most Americans
did not think
God wanted them to torture,
that God wanted them to plant landmines -
that kill and maim thousands of children each year,
that God wanted them to bomb villages
with collateral damage that kills many children,
that God wants them to build nuclear weapons -
that will kill millions at a time -
that God wants them to spend such huge resources
on weaponry -
then their government would not do it.
But most Americans do not feel passionately
about these things.
Neither do the citizens of other countries.
The idea of loving all God's creation
is a hard sell everywhere in the world.
God wants us all to love one another -
and to help one another.
But -
humanity has chosen to not go that way.
Consequently,
God is going to let humanity go its own way.
Hopefully humanity will eventually understand
the error of man's way -
and will turn unto God's way.
Some people say that -
"If God is good and exists and is all-Powerful -
He will not permit a nuclear war."
For years I have tried to respond to that
in my web pages.
http://www.webpal.org/c_renewal/index.htm#immediate
None of us should want nuclear war -
or war of any kind.
It is one thing
to see the inevitable pain
that mankind is about to go through -
and another to desire it,
although Ahmadijenad,
some Holocaust believing Christians -
and yes, myself,
may believe that by the permissive Will of God -
that it is now inevitable -
and we willing submit to God's decree.
I think that I have reached the point
that I can no longer communicate with people.
My responses are meaningless to them.
A couple of days ago
a woman wrote to me
wanting to know the fair price
for a radiation detection meter,
because she happened to get one at a garage sale
and her brother is a hobbyist and collects them
so she wanted to charge him a fair price.
I responded:
It is somewhere between priceless and useless -
depending upon its condition
and the use
you need to make of it.
There is a saying that
Americans know the price of everything
and the value of nothing.
I think this question proves that point.
----------
Am I just getting grumpy
in my old age?
Several times this last week
I have gotten questions from people
as to how many bullets they should store.
My response to one young person yesterday was:
Unfortunately
you will find our paradigms so different
that you will think any advice that I would give
to be useless.
It is not your fault.
We are on opposite ends of the life spectrum -
and as I have moved along
I have found that one's only true shelter is in God.
I think that I am really going to have to stop
offering advice.
What I have to say
is not what anyone wants to hear.
Yes, it is true
that we still have, maintain, and work diligently
on the largest private shelter -
but our goal is reconstruction
rather than survival.
You can see what we are all about at:
www.webpal.org/reconstruction.pdf
or
www.webpal.org/reconstruction.htm
---------------
The world has the destiny -
that the world has.
I write at length in my newsletters
about what
Ahmadinejad,
Bush,
Putin,
the Chinese,
Israel,
Syria,
and others are doing.
However,
it does not mean that I advocate
any of their plans.
Neither do I expect to divert them,
because I think the chosen paths
are now inevitable.
Humanity has left the airplane -
without a parachute.
Ten thousand feet and falling.
No hope for the present generation.
Survival isn't sufficient.
For God's Plan
there must be reconstruction
of a new and better world
for future generations.
At the moment -
that too is a hard sell.
Like training mules -
first one has to get their attention -
and it may be that God is about to do that.
---------
So,
don't let the wool be pulled over your eyes.
A very old expression -
dating from the wearing of wool wigs -
and felons blinding their victims
by doing so.
Today's news about nukes
and tomorrow's about derivatives -
and who knows what else -
all serves to divert us from focusing
on the Divine Plan.
All of this will soon pass away -
but the Will of God
will remain.
Peace and love,
Bruce
