[Arktwo] Another paradigm shift

For myself
paradigm shifts certainly are coming quickly.
Last month I discovered
that I am not living in the galaxy
which I had always thought I was living in -
and now yesterday
I discovered that the planet on which I live
is less physically stable than I thought.

Many years ago
(probably sometime in the 70's)
I read a book written by Allan W. Eckert in 1976 -
called The HAB Theory.
This fictional work was based on a theory
postulated by a real scientist named
Hugh Auchincloss Brown.

I was astounded by the footnotes in the book
supposedly supporting the theory -
by referring to articles in highly acclaimed
scientific journals.
I just didn't think it possible
that they could be actual references.

Nevertheless,
I traveled to Toronto
and spent an afternoon at
the Toronto Reference Library -
and found a significant number of the references.
Those that I considered most key
were all there.

Basically, the HAB Theory posits
that the earth has physically flipped
on its axis,
approximately every seven millennia or so.
The mechanisms that cause this
is build up of ice on its poles
along with the earth's mantle
floating on its core.

For years, after I read the HAB theory,
whenever I would  discuss it with physicists -
they ridiculed the idea.
One of their main points
was the ridiculous (to them) idea
of the mantle floating on the core.
This concept was more amenable to me
because I found reference to it
in my religious literature.

However, recently,
the idea has become more accepted
by the majority of geophysicists
based upon evidence presented in 2003 by
Bruce A. Buffett, Professor,
Department of the Geophysical Sciences,
University of Chicago.

What had really put me more off the HAB Theory -
of late -
has been the idea of ice building up on the poles.
Global warming seemed to indicate the opposite.
For years I have been hearing about
the Super Gigantic icebergs
breaking away from the South Pole
and wending their way
up into the Southern Atlantic.

Melt, melt, melt,
warming, warming, warming -
were all the messages that I was getting.
The very opposite of build-up
on the poles.

But -
lo and behold -
yesterday,
paradigm shift.

Turns out the South Pole is becoming much heavier.
Reason - snow and ice build-up.
Is global warming not true?
Nope -
GLOBAL WARMING IS STILL TAKING PLACE
at an accelerating rate.

BUT -
it turns out
that the two facts are not incompatible.
Global Warming has reduced the ice shelf
around the Antarctic -
resulting in the giant icebergs.
At the same time the sea
around the Antarctic has become much warmer -
and this has resulted in
GREATLY INCREASED PRECIPITATION
in the Antarctic -
and precipitation in the Antarctic is not rain -
it is SNOW!
Hence -
the massive snow build-up
(and weight build-up)
in the Antarctic and on the South Pole!!!

Meantime -
on the other end of the planet -
global warming has also been taking place.
But there is no wide open sea in this case -
and so in fact the snow and ice cover
(and the weight on the pole)
have been greatly reducing.

Sort of picture it like this -
for a moment.
A teeter totter -
balanced by equal weights on both ends.
Now we start to take weight off one end -
and we start to add weight on the other.
Guess what is going to happen.

Same thing regarding the earths mantle
on its core.
Since it isn't attached -
the mantle and exterior of the planet
will slip around the core.
This means that the present north pole
will be pointing at a new star.

Hellooo!!!
The HAB Theory is back.
Exciting stuff for me -
because I always saw it as a possibility
of a natural method -
by which the days of nuclear WW3
could be shortened.

So - it is back -
and for my part -
just in time too.

Of course,
none of the biggies -
"that are too big to allow to fail" -
and that were on the bank runs last month -

derivative situation.

Don't think that I have learned enough about them -
yet -
to be dangerous.
However, the talk about there being
hundreds of TRILLIONS of dollars of derivatives -
is not as bad as it sounds.

Turns out that derivatives are a form of insurance.
Talking about all of them failing -
is like talking about all of the
house fire insurance companies -
having all their houses burn down at once.

The insurance in this case
is against Puts and Calls -
something that I will not try to explain -
and which I don't understand all that well -
although I read a book about it
when a student of economics -
many years ago.

In this case it is the Hedge Funds
doing the insuring -
and just as with any insurers -
the problem is -
that in case of a great catastrophe
they may be (are) way, way over exposed.

Hedge Funds are not regulated
like the rest of the stock market.
The 1929 collapse occurred
because of margin calls.
Today margins are limited in the stock market -
but not so among Hedge Funds.

Some are in great likelihood of collapsing.

If you follow the threads -
you will see that the drop dead date
was October 15th.

It has now been postponed.
That does not mean that it can be delayed
indefinitely.

When I try to talk to my creditors
about these matters -
they are totally unaware.
I do live in a world aside.

They tell me -
and this is actual quote from a couple of them -
today -
that I should live in the real world.

Like I would know what that is.

Big item coming up -
in about the next 8 hours.
We may either be in it -
or past it when most of you read this.
I estimate it is due at about 4 a.m. EST.
That will be around noon in the Middle East.

It will be Friday the 12th -
Quds Day -
and the day that President Ahmadijehad of Iran
has promised to deliver
the FINAL / FINAL answer
to the US and Israel.
Whatever that means.

I have told my wife
that we may have an exciting drive
tomorrow afternoon
as we go to pick up Chyna
who is to come home for a weeks holiday
from her advanced training
as a service dog for autistic children.

Always lots of excitement here with us.
Today we got thirty truck loads of compost
rototilled into the A field.

On the far side of Little Wonder Valley -
which runs through Ark Two
we have the Bee Hives
so we call that the Bee Field.
Consequently the field on the near side
is the A field.

Altogether -
we were given 42 truckloads of compost,
and 12 of them are in piles on Bee field.
My daughter is learning to drive a dump truck -
and I hoping a week from Sunday
that the nephew that is teaching her
will pick up a load of horse manure with her -
from another nephew who is donating it to us -
and that we can have these piles covered
and curing -
for next year.

On Sunday,
we will be planting 150 pounds
of Winter Rye seed on A field.
It is absolutely amazing the talent
that is coming to us at this moment.

The Greenerside vision is to create an

The participants in Ark Two
have a variety of paradigms
and visions about the future.

The fact that I am always
IMMINENTLY expecting WW3 -
is established and tolerated
after these many decades.

I am grateful that I have always had
that incentive.
If I had not -
then Ark Two would never have progressed
to the point where it is today.

We have reached the highest point of readiness -
at Ark Two
that we have ever had.
The types of preparations
that we have in place
are beyond other's perceptions.

What we need most now
are people to participate
in Ark Two's Mission.
They are beginning to appear.

Our operational requirements are
that we have 4 shift commanders,
backed up by 2 lieutenants on each shift,
for a total of eight lieutenants.

We appear to be approaching these numbers
but our concern is the distance
at which some of our participants are located
and whether they will actually be here -
or able to get here -
when the balloon goes up.

We still have room
- before time -
to welcome others
who would like to participate.
