There is an event upcoming -
that very much concerns me.
It is going to irritate some of my readers
for me to talk about it,
but nevertheless -
as a 'Warner' I can do no otherwise.
It has to do with the 'gay' parade
scheduled for Jerusalem on June 21st.
The homosexuals have selected Jerusalem
specifically because it is
'The City of God'.
There is no city on the planet
considered more holy
by more religions.
The purpose of the homosexuals
planning a parade there is to say:
"In your face - God".
The reason that the homosexuals
have selected this religiously significant city
is because they are angry at religions -
which condemn homosexuality.
That condemnation of homosexuality
is found in the Books -
but as one homosexual wrote this week -
"I don't care what is written -
I know that my God is a God of Love,
and that He does not condemn how we love."
What this person is saying -
is that every person can determine
on their own the Mind and Will of God.
That there is no need for Prophets like
Moses
Jesus
Muhammad
and no need for Books like
Torah
Gospel
Qur'án,
or that at least our individual opinions
can legitimately over-ride
those of Prophets and what is in the Books.
It is one thing to say -
that opinions differ
about the Teachings found in Books
and from the Prophets -
but it is quite a different thing to say -
that they can be over-ruled.
Those who reject the Prophets and the Books -
are called deniers -
or false prophets -
if they themselves claim to have
the message from God.
In any case -
the situation regarding homosexuality
along with adultery, murder, fornication, lying -
is clearly stated in the Bible
and in other religious writings.
It is not to say -
that one sin is worse than the other.
The problem with homosexuals -
is that they are 'proud'
that they are homosexuals.
Can you imagine a 'pride parade' of
adulterers,
fornicators,
murderers,
liars -
bragging, stating how proud they are -
of each of their sins.
I have heard of parades of prostitutes -
and of terrorists -
so I am not saying that such parades
are impossible.
It is that they would be just as misplaced.
There could also be parades
of those who practice
masturbation,
bestiality,
child molestation,
torture -
each saying how proud they are of it.
However, Jesus said,
Mark 7:21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts,
adulteries, fornications, murders,
7:22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye,
blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
7:23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
I will concede to the earlier writer -
that God loves man -
and that is why He warns man away
from all these things
which are not good for either
the individual or society.
Numerous times in the Bible
there is mention about what happened
to Sodom -
(from which we get the word sodomy)
for its sins.
And numerous times in the Bible
there is mention that God
regards Jerusalem as His Holy City.
None of this, of course,
carries any weight with the homosexuals
because they do not believe the Book.
In fact Jerusalem is mentioned
747 times in the Bible.
I can remember that
because there was an airplane
of that nomenclature.
For my Mormon friends, it is mentioned
187 time in the LDS Writings,
and also
461 times in the Baha'i Writings.
Baha'u'llah says:
"Jerusalem is the place of pilgrimage for all the peoples of the world, and
hath been named the Holy City."
(Epistle to the Son of the Wolf,
p. 145)
At one time, a few years ago -
I gathered together all the quotes I could find
regarding Jerusalem -
with the intent of writing a book about it.
One of the many, many projects
that I never finished.
However,
I will present a few -
that space here permits -
along with some comments.
Some of these references -
some will say,
is to a time past -
but oftentimes I see Bible Scripture
as being an archetype
that is equally applicable to the present.
Daniel was concerned about the punishment
of Jerusalem.
Daniel 9:16 O LORD, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let
thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy
mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers,
Jerusalem and thy people are become a reproach to all that are about us.
I do think that Israel
has some problems today.
Polls show that over half of the Jews
say of themselves
that they are not religious.
And -
of those that are,
there are many that still follow
the dogmatic old orthodox ways.
Ezekiel 21:2 Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word
toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel,
21:3 And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I am
against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut
off from thee the righteous and the wicked.
Always, however,
there is the expectation
that Jerusalem will be restored.
Isaiah 4:3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he
that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is
written among the living in Jerusalem:
4:4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion,
and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the
spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.
Isaiah 27:13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet
shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land
of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the
LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.
Isaiah 66:20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the
LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and
upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the
LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the
house of the LORD.
Joel 3:16 The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from
Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be
the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
3:17 So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy
mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass
through her any more.
Revelation 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down
from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
In both the Bible
and the Baha'i Writings -
Jerusalem also has a spiritual meaning:
Revelation 21:10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high
mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out
of heaven from God,
Zechariah 2:12 And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy
land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.
Zechariah 8:3 Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell
in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth;
and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.
I could give hundreds more scriptures
regarding the past, present, and future
of Jerusalem.
And,
I could likewise give
a great number more scriptural quotes
regarding the Lord's view of sodomy.
Genesis 13:13 But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD
exceedingly.
Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like
manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange
flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal
fire.
2 Peter 2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes
condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that
after should live ungodly;
Deuteronomy 29:23 And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt,
and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth
therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which
the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath:
29:24 Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto
this land? what meaneth the heat of this great anger?
Amos 4:11 I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and
Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye
not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
But back to Jerusalem.
I will concede that
San Francisco
New Orleans
New York
have become the cities of sodomy -
and I expect them also to suffer the fire -
but then -
the homosexuals had to choose Jerusalem
for their target.
No matter what the politically correct
may say of me -
I have not made up the above scriptures.
They choose to not believe them -
but nevertheless they are there.
Last year about this time -
I warned of the coming event.
It had been put off in the years before -
and while it seemed unavoidable last year -
at the last moment it was again circumvented.
Thousands of homosexuals and their advocates
demonstrated in Tel Aviv this week,
as they have for the last decade.
But now -
they say it must be in the Holy City -
on the 21st of this month.
"In God's face - they say."
Could God have made His position
clearer on that point?
Could I have shouted the matter more loudly?
To have done less -
and I would have not been a Warner.
Jerusalem the chosen city.
Chosen by God.
Chosen by the homosexuals.
Chosen by Destiny.
That city in which the whole of humanity
expresses its attitude towards God.
And for those that reject the message -
Luke 10:12 But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day
for Sodom, than for that city.
Jerusalem - goodnight to world.
Jerusalem - to light the world.
Jerusalem - to set aright the world.
Jerusalem - a light to world.
Peace and love,
Bruce
