There is a planet,
I kid you not,
in the galaxy Sagittarius -
whose inhabitants distinguish between themselves
on the basis of some
superficial epidermal physical characteristics
that are probably indistinguishable
to inhabitants of other planets.
On that planet in the galaxy Sagittarius
they also make great distinction
between each other
as to their practices in regards
to the Creator -
and seem most willing to kill each other
over the question of
which group loves God the most.
The inhabitants of the planet
have recently discovered
nuclear energy and weapons
and appear to be in danger
of blowing themselves to Kingdom come.
Welcome to a paradigm shift.
The three spheres of sanity!
a. When you are
b. Where you are
c. Who you are (the most difficult)
But for me -
'b' - where I am - just shifted yesterday.
Always the child view
of 'where do you live'?
1. House Number - 161
2. Street - Main
3. Village - Horning's Mills
4. Province - Ontario
5. Country - Canada
6. Continent - North America
7. Planet - Earth
8. Star - Sun
9. Galaxy - Milky Way
WRONG!
I have just learned -
that I live in the Galaxy Sagittarius -
which is just passing through
the Milky Way.
Turns out that I am alien to this galaxy -
and not even a permanent resident.
Gee,
I hope that the other Milky Way galaxians
don't get upset about that.
Okay,
so their ancestors got here
a few billion years before mine -
but I couldn't choose who I was born to.
Nope - no green card.
Nothing.
If they decide to send us back
I don't even speak the language
of the rest of the Sagittarians.
I don't even know what they look like -
or anything about their culture.
Not sure how they would accept
my religion
or anything there.
This is interesting to check out:

or the following which you may wish to skip
because it is a bit technical

----------
Grasping reality is always difficult.
The reality is we never will.
"Our situation
(this thing we call life)
may not only be
stranger than we suppose;
it may be stranger
than we can suppose."
British geneticist J.B.S. Haldane
Some people just do not feel comfortable
that they may be wrong
about who, when, and where they are.
Can you imagine a Jew hater -
going to bed one night -
and then waking up the next morning
to find out that they were Jewish.
Or a white racist -
learning that he has Negro ancestors.
I have known both to happen.
I was over twenty years old
before I grasped that I was
a member of the human race
rather than a member of the white race.
I was over thirty years old
before I grasped that I was
a citizen of the world -
rather than the citizen of a country.
I was forty years old -
before I understood that
there is but one religion -
the religion of God -
and that all the
Divinely Revealed Religions
come from God.
I was over fifty years old
when I found out that my parentage
was not what I had supposed it to be.
I could still be mistaken.
I was over sixty years old
before I comprehended
the nature of the illusion
of the physical reality.
And now at over seventy
I have become aware that I am a member
of a different galaxy
than I had thought all my life.
Paradigm change.
But as the ancient Greek said -
the only constant is change.
Reality is Absolute and Infinite.
Our comprehension of it
will forever remain relative and finite.
I can look at others
and see their limited views
about the importance of
the sovereignty of their nation -
the superiority of their race -
the significance of their religion -
but then I have to realize -
that my own views
are infinitely closer to
the limitation that is theirs -
than to the Infinite Reality that is God.
Nope,
I have much to learn -
about:
Who I am as God's Creation -
When I am in the Eternal -
Where I am in the Infinite.
Until now,
I haven't even been able
to give my address correctly
to the 9th place.
----------
Lots of stir these days -
among those who track such things -
as to what may happen on Monday.
Here is the thesis.
a. Syria said a war would start
during the week of the 16th
and told students and Syrians
in Lebanon to head for home.
Monday is the 23rd,
and 7 days (the end of the week)
plus 16 (the beginning of the week)
equals that day - Monday the 23rd.
b. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
met yesterday (Thursday)
in the Syrian capital of Damascus
with Syria's President Bashar al-Assad
and also with
Hezbollah's leader Hassan Nasrallah
taking along with him
key Iranian military leaders.
Ahmadinejad announced that Israel
would face another summer like it did last year
with Lebanon -
but that this year there will be
Hezbollah
Hamas
Palestinian groups in West Bank and Lebanon
Syria and
Iran.
c. When I was a kid there was a saying about
how the Arabs would fold their tents
and fade away into the night.
Out in the desert you could camp
among a hundred of them -
and when you came out of your tent
in the morning -
you would be all alone.
Well, reportedly this is what has happened
in Jordan.
The farmers have gathered their crops -
not bothered to plant others -
and have melted away.
Supposedly passing word from one
to the next -
that the war starts Monday.
d. Great amounts of Muslim arms are being reported
as being shipped into
Syria
Iraq
Gaza
West Bank
Lebanon
e. Fortifications being built by Syria
over the border in Lebanon
and roads being opened
into the Golan Heights.
f. But why Monday -
is because it is on the Jewish calendar
the 9th of AV.
This was the date in history
of the destruction of both of the Temples -
both being destroyed on the very same date -
of the very same month.
Not only did those disasters
happen on that date
but also other Jewish disasters
on the same date in other years.
It became a tradition with the Jews
that it was the Day of Dread.
This also became known to the Jews' enemies
and they would plan things for that day -
all the way down to and including Hitler,
and afterwards.
The Nazis’ anti-Jewish decrees
were signed on the 9th of Av,
and it was not accidental
that the expulsion of the Jews
from Spain in 1492 occurred on that date.
The number of such events / attacks
that were successful for the Arabs
on that same date caused it for them to
become known as a favored day for success.
It is for this reason -
that among masses of Muslim people in Gaza,
Jordan, Syria, Egypt, and elsewhere,
they are hoping for a great victory
on Monday.
And it is for this reason -
that among the Jews
it is a Day of Dread.
We won't have to wait long to see.
----------
Reported this week that
Iran has closed its borders
with Northern Iraq
and is shelling into Iraq.
At the same time
Tehran has so far refused to contemplate a nuke freeze,
but has said they are willing to talk, talk, talk -
as if that means anything.

At the UN,
the US, Britain and France
are trying to secure Security Council agreement
but of course Russia and China
won't go along
and Russia has suspended its
Arms Agreement.

It was the claim of Iranian sovereignty over Bahrain, the home of U.S. 5th
Fleet, that produced the most heated back and forth.
"This is just another in a series of outrageous statements out of Iranian
leadership," (US State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said Wednesday).
"You have President Ahmadinejad multiple times talking about wiping Israel
off the map. Now they've shifted their focus to Bahrain and they want to
gobble up Bahrain.
"It's another indication of how this is a regime that operates completely
outside the accepted norms of international behavior," McCormack said.
----------------
Fat talk -
about Legal and illegal
between Sovereign countries.
Since the US can do ANYTHING
it wants to do -
and there is no one to say 'No' -
according to those who believe
in Sovereignty -
then why can't any other country?
---------
So -
a GIGANTIC US arms build-up
is taking place -
although not noted by the MSM.

Navy from US, Japan, Australia, and Singapore will join India in a massive
naval exercise in Bay of Bengal - a warning to China?
Twenty warships from five countries, including three aircraft carriers,
nuclear submarines and fighters...
On the other hand -
China's navy now has nearly 60 submarines,
http://tinyurl.com/2dn8ko
Some of the newest are equipped with Russian-made cruise missiles that fly
at supersonic speeds when they approach their targets and were specifically
designed to attack and sink aircraft carriers, according to U.S. naval
officers.
----------
The (Grim) Reaper heads for the Middle East
This one is a goody -
so check it out.
It is about how to fight your wars
from the comfort of your armchair
on the other side of the world.

BALAD AIR BASE, Iraq (AP) - Away from the headlines and debate over the
"surge" ... "We're the busiest aerial port in DOD (Department of Defense),"
said Col. Dave Reynolds, a mission support commander here.

-------------
News blurb:
Almost half of the US's 277 warships are stationed close to Iran, including
two aircraft carrier groups.
-------------
"Both American and Russian missiles remain in a launch-on-warning mode,"
Perry, who served as U.S. defense secretary in 1994-97, said. "And the
inherent danger of this status is aggravated by the fact that the Russian
warning system has deteriorated since the ending of the Cold War."
-----------
Way, way more
such news items
than I have room to report.
Lots of activity also at Ark Two -
with a half dozen helpers
that may come starting this evening.
We always have task priorities -
but no matter -
we are so far ahead of anyone else
that I know of
regarding our preps -
that I shouldn't complain.
And -
gas prices are down
in North America
while the Dow is over 14000 -
so enjoy your summer.
Peace and love,
Bruce
