CHEBARKUL RANGE /Chelyabinsk region/, August 17 (Itar-Tass) -- Russian
President Vladimir Putin stated that Russia was resuming flights of its
strategic aviation on permanent basis from Friday.

"Four strategic missile carriers, support planes, and tanker aircraft took
off from seven Russian airfields in various part of the country at 00:00,
Moscow time, on August 17. Combat duty has begun," Putin said.

Certainly not being reported
in the US MSM,
which is concerned with six miners
buried in Utah.

Certainly not on Stock Market news
which is reporting how the market is recovering
as a result of the Fed lowering the discount rate.

Certainly not being discussed
at your local coffee shop.

"What does it mean",
my wife said to me.

Well, many things -

a. It means that although he just finished
   going on a fishing trip with Bush
   and Bush's daddy -
   that Putin is still putout with the US.

b. Why in the world would Putin
   be putout with the US?
   Well, the second greatest nuclear power
   in the world -
   has listed LOTS of reasons -
   over the last many months -
   that have not been reported in the US MSM.

c. Things are building VERY rapidly in the
   Middle East.
	Israel
	Syria
	Iran
	Iraq
   but the official positions are that
   Israel and Syria want peace
   and that the US is making progress.
   Again -
   you will not learn differently from the US MSM.

d. The world financial system is crumbling
   and Russia thinks that in response to that
   the US may well wag the dog.

Whatever you think of
why Russia would do such a thing
or
the meaning of the message
consider the following:

a. Putin did not embody the statement
   in a large flowing message -
   it was short, sweet?, and to the point.

b. He did not say that this
   was not to be taken
   as an acceleration of hostilities -
   and that the US and Russia
   are still VERY GOOD FRIENDS as Bush says.

c. He did not say that this was
   just war games, exercises, and training -
   and that no one should take offence by them.

d. He did not do it secretively.

e. It is not something that was 'leaked'.

f. It is not someone speculating about it.

g. It did not come from an unreliable source -
   such that it may not have happened.

h. He did not threaten the action - he did it.

The medium here
is that Russia has begun combat duty
with its nuclear missile launching bombers.
