[Arktwo] New World Order

Friends plead with me -
"Please don't write about
The New World Order".

Yep,
discussing it
is like discussing religion -
especially when I say that
"I am in favour of a New World Order".

Nevertheless,
the world needs a new order.
It is the present order
that is about to cause the
Nuclear Holocaust,
and I think that it is God's Decree
that man establish just society upon the earth.

After the holocaust -
assuming that we survive it -
humankind will convene an assemblage
to form a NWO -
just in the way that after
the previous two world-wide conflicts
it formed first the League of Nations
and then later the United Nations.

There are many views -
about what the NWO should look like.
Some such as China, Russia, and Cuba
may want it to be a Communist system.
Others like the 22 Muslim countries -
may want it to be Islamist in nature.
Still others (Orthodox Jews)
expect the coming of the Messiah
and of course the Christians are expecting
the return of Christ -
or in some cases the coming of an Anti-Christ.

Those who do not favour a NWO
usually want to return to the failed systems of the past
and often attribute aspirations for a world order to a conspiracy of
the Communists, Masons, Illuminati, Jews,
or the Devil himself.
Whichever.

I will not try to dissuade any persons
who hold any of the above views -
but I will share with you
some concepts about what I think
ideally a NWO should embody.

First let me list the problems
that I think exist
with the present world order.

The Evils of
Present Western Social Organization
that need to be removed.

1. Autonomy -
	to start wars.
2. Empire -
the ruling of one nation over another.
3. Corporatism -
	which has been called Fascism.
	The control of government
	by big business.
4. Corporations -
	soulless organizations
	supposedly formed to limit liability
and often run by 'managers' (executives)
	rather than individual entrepreneurs.
5. Legalism, laws, and lawyers -
	instead of rule by principle.
6. Balance of Powers -
sometimes called checks and balances -
	but which frustrate reasonable policies.
7. Bureaucracies -
	which are self sustaining
	for their own self-interest
	without sufficient direct oversight.
8. Political parties -
	controlled by financial contributors
	and committed to single philosophies.
9. Laissez Faire -
with free ability to scam, spam, con,
	and destroy resources,
	without penalty for social harm.
10. Freedom of speech without courtesy and respect.

There are many problems
in other countries in the world -
such as lack of freedom
of religion and expression -
no meaningful elections -
and almost total corruption
among political leaders and bureaucrats.

Nevertheless,
following the principle
of first casting the log out of one's own eye -
the above list is what I see
as the problems in Western society
and particularly in the North American social structure.

There are admittedly
other great social problems
often pointed out by advocates of other systems -
such as North American materialism, immorality,
racism and a variety of prejudices.
However,
I am speaking here of social structure -
and removal of the above listed problems
would remove many other problems
such as some identify as the
military / industrial complex -
unreasonable disparities between the wealthy and poor -
and the lack of opportunity for many categories of individuals.

To put the corrective measures
in a positive rather than negative frame -
what I propose are that
the following remedies be instituted.

1. A completely hierarchical system of democracy
	with each level electing
	from its own membership
	a representative
	to the level above.

2. Limited terms of office with no re-election
	at any level.
	Either "up or out".

3. Completely secret ballots
	at all levels
	with majority vote needed
	for election or decisions.

4. Total rights to vote and hold office
by all age fifteen and older.

5. All power and authority resting with the elected.
No balance of powers at any level.
Complete authority held by each higher level.
Consultation with, but no control by, the electors.

6. Each level with full responsibility of
providing full employment in their level
and the right to issue currency
valid within the level in order
	to achieve that goal.

7. All resources appropriate to each level -
completely owned and controlled by the level
	with 'property rights' being delegated
and removed in accordance with principles
that assure social justice and that reward
	initiative, incentive, and integrity.

8. Rule completely by Principles rather than 'laws'
and the foremost of these Principles
being such things as freedom of religion and speech,
security for one's home and family,
and opportunity for education and livelihood.

9. Thorough and transparent gathering and reporting of statistics.

10. Justice, welfare, education, spiritual advancement, to be the primary
concern of every level.

While some people may discount what I propose
as a merely utopian dream or ideal -
still we are about to arrive at a point
in the history of humankind
when the opportunity for substantial changes
may present itself.

The purpose of Ark Two
has always been survival for the purpose of
reconstructing society.

I don't imagine that all my ideal policies
shall be achieved -
but, nevertheless, they are the ideals
towards which I work.

There will be many powerful forces -
that will oppose these ideals -
and to the degree that they are successful
in their opposition -
then the seeds of the old problems will remain.
I recognize that it may require centuries
for such ideals to be universally implemented -
and consequently -
I anticipate that humanity as a whole
and great numbers of individual people in society
will still face numerous great hardships.

What I propose
I see described or intimated
in what my religion designates as God's Great Plan.
However,
such issues of social justice and social ideals
will have to be implemented through the future struggle
of millions of dedicated individuals.

Contrary to the philosophy and theology of some -
while the Great Architect lays out the Grand Design -
I don't see Him doing humanity's work for establishing it.
The design is God's -
as is the goal of justice and peace
for all of humanity -
but the effort to achieve them
will have to be mankind's.

in my, and other's, views on the NWO -

There are many people who write to me
that would like to return to a form of government
from the past.
A past when there were no nuclear weapons
nor intercontinental ballistic missiles.

Many people 'idealize' the US Constitution
which was originally framed by slave holders
who would not allow women to vote.

Its strength was that in time it changed,
and it served the purposes of a young continent
with independent people who had a pioneering spirit.
But times have changed further -
not only in the nature of the world
but in the nature of the American people
in their press for materialism, luxury,
and often immorality.

In the past -
the integrity, generosity,
and dedication to God -
of the American people
allowed them to build an example
of achievement and freedom
that was a shining light
to the whole of the world.

But,
that is no longer the case
with the corporate leaders
who now control America.
The very terms
integrity, generosity,
and dedication to God -
no longer describe them.

It is not that we need to return
to the ideals of the past
but rather that we must develop higher ideals
for the future
that ensure justice, freedom, and spiritual growth
for all of the peoples of the world.

The founding fathers of America
and the authors of the US Constitution
greatly debated varieties of ideas
in the Federalist Papers
regarding the needs of that day
for social organization.

This day no less -
needs to consider its needs.
I have proposed some thoughts
based upon my understanding of my religion
and years of study with degrees in
political science and economics.
Those who have been long time readers
of this newsletter
know that they are ideas that I have
thought about and discussed intensely
for a long time.

I don't claim any of the ideas
to be original with me.
They are simply ones that I have adopted
after much reading and discussion with others.
I do feel that they are ideas
that others should consider -
and if there be among them facets
with which they disagree
I will more than welcome their critique.

Soon the time will come -
when powers will gather to implement
or restrain
some of the ideas that I have presented here.
Whatever those powers choose to do -
there will be some (perhaps many)
that will be opposed to them.

There are some people -
indeed perhaps many people -
who only find fault -
and who do not try to find solutions -
or to find the good in what exists.
These opposers and faultfinders
we will have with us always.
They are a part of the problem
rather than being a part of solution.

I certainly hope
that you, along with myself,
are among those looking for solutions
that are in keeping with goals and will of God.

Peace and love,
Bruce
