There are many views
about the future
such as:
a. Mankind is about to become a failed species -
destroying civilization with nuclear weapons,
overpopulation, oil depletion, contamination,
environmental depletion, pollution, epidemic,
- or some other disaster of your choice.
b. Christ is about to come down on a cloud
and remove the evil from the earth
with the good living here eternally
or at least for a thousand years
and the lions lying down with the lambs, etc.
c. That tomorrow will be pretty much the same as yesterday
with all conflicts between the rich and the poor,
the have and have not nations,
battling it out over the world's resources.
d. That some political / economic system
will through force subdue the world
and establish a near utopia.
Peoples' expectations of the future of the world
are often determined by
their religion or non-religion.
My expectation is determine by my religion,
and that expectation includes a New World Order.
Several people have asked me to clarify
what I mean by a New World Order -
because so many people have particular conceptions
in their minds
as to the meaning of the term.
For some people the term has become code
meaning a system of masters and slaves
where everything is governed from a central source
where there is complete control of thought and religion -
or that there is no religion
and no freedom
for such things as private ownership of property.
These are simply their own dark definitions
of what they suppose to be the conspirational goals
of some powerful and secret organization
such as that further down
I list links to information about.
There are indeed -
numerous aspirations for establishing a world order.
Islamists wish to establish Shariah law world wide.
Communists wish to establish communism.
The neo-cons wish to make the world safe for capitalism.
Orthodox Jews still look for the coming of the Messiah -
and as mentioned above
Christians hope for the reign of Christ upon earth.
There is a large literature
of people stating their views
and aspirations.
I list these on a web page dealing with the NWO.
http://tinyurl.com/bmayx
And I specifically provide two pages
of such quotes from Presidents of the US
and other famous people:

So many people -
so many views.
But my view is that
destiny is determined by God.
So that you may know
"where I am coming from"
I am going to state here
my basic beliefs.
1. That there is but One Creator (God).
2. That the Creator's creation is Infinite and Eternal.
3. That what little we are aware of the creation
is still very immense and very ancient.
4. Which means that we know of billions of galaxies
containing billions of stars
from which it has taken billions of years
for the light to reach our planet
that is reaching it at this moment.
5. While in the immensity of this creation
the doings of this one small planet may seem insignificant -
instead, because God's wisdom and love is infinite,
the doings of each planet
and each individual on each planet
is totally significant.
6. The destiny of our individual lives
and the destiny of events upon our planet
must be viewed within this overall scheme of things.
7. Change is constant -
either towards integration or disintegration.
Nothing physical is permanent.
Only things spiritual, such as the soul, are eternal.
8. Societies as a whole (just like individuals)
appear, mature, and disintegrate.
9. In the very long duration of this planet
there have appeared upon it innumerable races of man and societies.
10. The present society is approaching its stage of maturity,
a stage that will last for about 500,000 years.
11. For man to understand all these things which I have mentioned
and to understand what humanity needs at each stage of growth,
God provides it with particular Spiritual Teachers
known as the Manifestations of God.
Such a Manifestation is provided about every one thousand years.
12. The current Manifestation has taught that there is but one religion -
the religion of God,
and that all the Manifestations in the past and in the future
have come and will come to teach that one religion.
The differences between the religions are man made
and men have made many different sects
each time the religion has been revealed
(brought by the Manifestation).
13. As man progresses and society changes
each Manifestation brings higher learning -
that is to say -
teachings necessary and suitable to that age.
14. It being known to the current Manifestation that
this age would have atomic energy
and the ability to destroy the world,
the Manifestation decreed that to prevent its destruction
it would be necessary for the world to have a world government.
15. There is considerable discretion left to humanity
as to the specifics of how the world government will be formed.
For those who are interested in understanding my religions teachings
about these matters
I refer you to my web pages at:
http://tinyurl.com/kv2j5
and
http://tinyurl.com/fsaxo
The overall scenario of events
is that God gives humanity free will -
and that humanity using that free will
has turned away from the Path of God.
Eventually the error, problems, disastrous results,
of turning away from the Path of God -
will become so great
that humanity will again seek the Path of God.
One of the disastrous results of turning away -
is that humanity is going to suffer a great calamity
(which I personally see as being nuclear war).
As a result of this calamity -
the leaders of the world will have to gather together -
to form a world government.
In that regards I will provide you
with a quote from my religion:
"THE Great Being, wishing to reveal the prerequisites of the peace and
tranquillity of the world and the advancement of its peoples, hath written:
The time must come when the imperative necessity for the holding of a vast,
an all-embracing assemblage of men will be universally realized. The rulers
and kings of the earth must needs attend it, and, participating in its
deliberations, must consider such ways and means as will lay the foundations
of the world's Great Peace amongst men. Such a peace demandeth that the
Great Powers should resolve, for the sake of the tranquillity of the peoples
of the earth, to be fully reconciled among themselves. Should any king take
up arms against another, all should unitedly arise and prevent him. If this
be done, the nations of the world will no longer require any armaments,
except for the purpose of preserving the security of their realms and of
maintaining internal order within their territories. This will ensure the
peace and composure of every people, government and nation. We fain would
hope that the kings and rulers of the earth, the mirrors of the gracious and
almighty name of God, may attain unto this station, and shield mankind from
the onslaught of tyranny.... The day is approaching when all the peoples of
the world will have adopted one universal language and one common script.
When this is achieved, to whatsoever city a man may journey, it shall be as
if he were entering his own home. These things are obligatory and absolutely
essential. It is incumbent upon every man of insight and understanding to
strive to translate that which hath been written into reality and action....
That one indeed is a man who, today, dedicateth himself to the service of
the entire human race. The Great Being saith: Blessed and happy is he that
ariseth to promote the best interests of the peoples and kindreds of the
earth. In another passage He hath proclaimed: It is not for him to pride
himself who loveth his own country, but rather for him who loveth the whole
world. The earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens.
THE All-Knowing Physician hath His finger on the pulse of mankind. He
perceiveth the disease, and prescribeth, in His unerring wisdom, the remedy.
Every age hath its own problem, and every soul its particular aspiration.
The remedy the world needeth in its present-day afflictions can never be the
same as that which a subsequent age may require. Be anxiously concerned with
the needs of the age ye live in, and centre your deliberations on its
exigencies and requirements.
We can well perceive how the whole human race is encompassed with great,
with incalculable afflictions. We see it languishing on its bed of sickness,
sore-tried and disillusioned. They that are intoxicated by self-conceit have
interposed themselves between it and the Divine and infallible Physician.
Witness how they have entangled all men, themselves included, in the mesh of
their devices. They can neither discover the cause of the disease, nor have
they any knowledge of the remedy. They have conceived the straight to be
crooked, and have imagined their friend an enemy.

The Proclamation of Baha'u'llah, p. 114)
In concluding part two -
I will further describe
the envisioned NWO,
Peace and love,
