[Arktwo] Nothing to worry about

You will probably hear about it
from other sources,
but I don't think it is anything
to worry about.
A couple of days ago
one US military installation
slightly raised its level of alert.
There were some other pecularities -
happening with the installation -
that were probably unrelated.
This increased level of alert
has now been extended
to three other installations.
I would give you links -
such as Drudge -
but they have now been taken off-line
or appear to be overloaded.
The more interesting response
is that it is being reported
from a highly vocal Russian source -
that Russia has also raised
its alert level because the US installations
have to do with the Space Command.
The Russian source
is often not reliable -
and some people think that it is sometimes used
as a Russian psychobabel military intentional
misinformation source.
I am receiving all sorts of speculations
because of the alert being Space Command related -
that it has something to do with:
a. The Space Shuttle Launch
b. North Korea's missile
c. The NEO (Near Earth Object) event that is happening
I doubt all that.
Probably more significant
at the moment
- but unrelated to the alert -
is that Olmert has ordered
the Israeli military to use full power
to do whatever they can do
to recover the kidnapped soldier.
No results have appeared
from that order either.
The Shuttle didn't go
and the launch is now delayed
until the 4th.
The lull continues -
but paranoia abounds -
and that in itself
can be self-fulfilling.
In just six hours
it will be 3 a.m. EDT
and I will be checking to see
what is going on at 10:00 a.m.
mid-morning in Israel.
Peace and love,
Bruce
