1. Egypt says Hamas has rejected Egypt's offer.
The ball is now in Israel's court,
regarding Gaza on Israel's south.
2. Hezbollah says now ready to launch attack
on Israel's north -
if Israel invades Gaza.
3. Osama Bin Laden urging on civil war in Iraq.
Latest tape received today.
4. Russia says Ukraine shipped missiles
(and possibly nukes) to Iran.
(And while not permitted in the game -
if you would like a fifth and sixth ball -
there is Syria and North Korea).
---------
Potential acceleration of events:
Sunday July 2:
Today - it is unlikely
that the Shuttle
will successfully launch.
Monday July 3:
All hell likely to having broken loose
between Israel
and Hamas and Hezbollah.
(Hamas and Hezbollah may prove relatively toothless.
In the past they have made massive threats -
that they haven't been able to carry out -
but they are making considerable shows of strength -
with thousands marching in the streets.)
Tuesday July 4:
Middle East will continue falling apart with:
a. Civil War in Iraq
(Sunnis feel they are losing
and are therefore getting meaner.)
b. Muslim Brotherhood
demonstrating in Egypt
(and also other groups in
Turkey, Syria and most other
Muslim countries).
Muslim governments losing control.
c. Increasing Civil unrest even in Iran
d. Syrian & Iran support of Hezbollah
e. Lebanon disruption
because of Hezbollah
Wednesday July 5:
Iran will not accept G-6 (G-8) proposal.
Thursday July 7:
North Korea will continue
fooling or fuelling with
its missile.
Friday July 8:
In face of the above events
and some other unexpected events
such as riots about changes
at the Jerusalem Mosque -
or some unexpected terrorist act -
(pick your own cartoon event)
US will be on much higher alert
and Canada / US Border will close.
--------
I of course cannot foretell
a single one of the above events
because like I always say -
"I am not a prophet".
It is just that present circumstances
create this possible type of scenario -
and make me feel -
that those planning to head for the Ark -
should be doing so now.
They must let me know if they are coming.
Anyway,
I think this has great potential
for being an exciting week.

The ball landed squarely in the Israeli court Saturday night, July 1, after
Cairo admitted its bid to negotiate an end to the Gideon Shalit hostage
crisis had ended in fiasco six days after his capture.
----------
Saturday too the Lebanese Hizballah placed its forces on the ready. Hassan
Nasrallah, the terrorist group’s leader, explained that when the IDF attacks
Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian organizations in Lebanon will be set
loose against Israel’s northern border.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov has said that Ukraine had supplied
cruise missiles to Iran and China, the RIA-Novosti news agency reported
Friday.
“In 2000 and 2002, Ukrainian company Progress which is a daughter company of
the Ukrspetsexport holding, supplied Iran and China with batches of six K-55
cruise missiles (these are air-based long-range Soviet missiles).
A criminal probe has been started into these deals and official instances
have been informed,” the Russian minister said at a press conference in
Moscow.
This fact is a blatant violation of the missile technologies
nonproliferation control, Sergei Ivanov added.

MOSCOW. June 30 (Interfax) - Moscow has never cooperated with Iran on rocket
technology, Russian Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov
has said.
"We have never had any cooperation whatsoever in the area of rocket
technology with Iran at the level of the government," Ivanov told
journalists on Friday.
"Our position on this issue is extremely plain and crystal-clear," Ivanov
said.
The only aspect of Russia's nuclear cooperation with Iran is the
construction of a nuclear power plant in Bushehr, "which does not envision
the transfer of any sensitive technology," Ivanov said.
"We have insisted and will continue insisting that, upon completion of the
nuclear power plant, all spent nuclear fuel, after it is duly worked out in
a reactor, will be taken back to Russia up to the last gram under
international control," Ivanov said.
---------------
The Group of Eight industrialized nations told Iran on Thursday they wanted
a "clear and substantive response" on July 5 to an offer of incentives to
stop enriching uranium, but two Iranian officials immediately declared more
time was needed.
Speaking to reporters during a trip to Brussels, UnderSecretary of State
Nicholas Burns insisted the offer was "very straightforward" and Iran's
chief negotiator Ali Larijani should respond as requested by next Wednesday.
"There will be a meeting here in this city next week, where we expect and
hope that Larijani will give us an answer ... This is not a complicated
offer," Burns said.

Hourly news events -
too rapid to report.
Too erratic to predict.
Too serious to ignore.
Most anything that I say -
will be different by the time
that you read it.
Most anything that I anticipate as a possibility -
will somehow have worked out differently.
You have to watch it for yourself -
and make your own call.
Things now are all lined up.
Four runners on base -
the call is three and two,
and all that.
The next pitch is critical.
Truly, the situation is more critical now -
than it was at the time of
the Cuban Missile Crisis.
THEN - both teams had more reasonable men,
and there were fewer players.
But once the avalanche starts -
it will be all downhill.
For now, you may be able to say -
there was Bruce -
all excited again -
and it didn't happen.
Maybe.
But sometime - eventually,
and this could well be the time.
Peace and love,
Bruce
