Clearly Iran thinks that it is winning.
1. It has gotten the US
to greatly weaken its main Sunni competitor in Afghanistan.
That is to say -
Osama bin Laden and the Taliban.
2. It has gotten the US and Israel
to greatly weaken its main Sunni competitor in Palestine.
That is to say -
Hamas which is largely funded by Saudi Arabia sources.
3. It has gotten the US to destroy Saddam -
and the Bathist Sunnis in Iraq -
which was the main military might
that it had directly confronted.
4. Its allies - the Shiites in Iraq -
have been put in power by the US,
and Iraq thrown into civil war -
with the US supporting the Shia.
5. It has the US bogged down in Iraq -
so that the US can't leave -
and so the US is having to use
more and more resources there -
rather than against Iran.
6. Iran's prestige over Syria
has been greatly enhanced
by the Lebanese war.
7. Shiite Iran has gain the admiration
of the Muslim World
while Arab Sunni world
from Egypt to Indonesia
have been humiliated
that Shiite Iran's role vs. the US -
has caused such consternation in the West
while the Sunnis have been ineffectual
in confronting the US.
8. It has split the UN -
with Russia and China voting
(or abstaining)
on its behalf
against Europe, Britain and the US.
9. It has gained the support
of the Muslim sector in the UN.
10. It has built, demonstrated,
and battle-tested (by using Hezbollah)
a modern technological war machine
that astounded the US and Israel
by its Electronic Warfare (EW) capability.
Claiming a victory in the eyes
of the Muslim world.
11. It has gained years of delay
that permitted it to develop
nuclear capability
and to reject UN control.
12. It has developed, tested
and demonstrated modern accurate
medium range missile technology
that can easily reach Israel.
13. It has repeatedly stood up to the US
and has repeatedly rubbed the US nose
in US power claims
from the time of the 444 day Embassy hostage crises
to the present toothless US / UN declarations.
14. Except for US allies
it has gained world opinion
that the US is the aggressor
using Israel as its pawn
to try to control Middle East oil -
and the world.
15. It has convinced many
in the US Pentagon and among US allies
that its hardened nuclear sites
are sufficiently non-destructible
that only an unthinkable full nuclear attack
by the US or Israel could take them out.
16. It has gotten the support of
Russia and China -
such that a nuclear attack on it would mean
the total obliteration of Israel -
and that if the US intervened
then nuclear WW3 would be immediate.
17. There is no question that Iran
has the capability of closing
the Persian Gulf sea lanes -
and stopping a large part
of the world's oil.
18. It has established military alliances
with Pakistan and Syria.
19. It has greatly enhanced
its working relationship with India -
over pipelines and such -
and to some degree with Turkey
regarding the Kurds.
20. All this and more
and it also feels that
it has the support of Allah -
in being the Seat of Shia -
the correct branch of Islam -
the religion of God.
---------
This is not to say
that all actually goes well
for Iran.
A. In truth -
Israel accomplished most of its goals
in Lebanon by destroying most
of the medium range missiles aimed at it
and by widening the moat.
B. The transfer of weaponry
into Lebanon
through Syria
has been largely temporarily curtailed.
C. Its EW technology and some other gadgetry
has now been exposed
so it will no longer be a surprise.
D. The President of Iran
is in reality
no more popular in Iran
than Bush is in the US.
Probably even less so.
The Iranian elections are even more controlled
than US politics.
E. Iran did not have the clout
to start the Oil Bourse
it promised to start.
F. The Iranian scientists
were not (so far as we know)
able to deliver the working nuclear warhead
by either January 1st or August 22nd,
as Iranian leaders intimated they would.
G. The EU (European Union) is very upset with them.
H. The UN keeps going against them.
I. Russia and China -
while they may think it inevitable -
in response to the US efforts at world control -
are not all that happy about the prospect
of Iran starting WW3.
J. Lots of Sunni Arab countries
are not that pleased about their
Shia aspirations.
K. The deadlines (like August 29th)
that the US keeps pushing at them -
are inconvenient -
although the UN itself is a toothless tiger.
--------
Things aren't really going that well -
for any of the Muslim countries.
Any of them that you look at
(Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia,
Syria, Pakistan, Afghanistan, -
you name it in the list of over 20)
are fairly unstable -
with different extremist groups
such as the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt
struggling to take over.
-----------
And there is instability -
everywhere in the world.
China has emerging masses of peasants
and breakaway Taiwan
that it is trying to control.
Russia has already seen the break-up
of the USSR -
and its world prestige and influence
continues to fall.
The US, which has controlled
the world currency -
is in free fall regarding its debt -
at the same time it is involved
with a civil war in Iraq
that is calling for more and more US troops.
----------
Nothing bodes well
for anyone -
because everyone's fortune
is tied to one of these world powers.
It takes a cosmic view
to see who is winning -
but the answer is -
God is winning.
We are on the path -
to turn the world around
from its materialism, selfishness,
and immorality -
to live by the rules
that God has established for it.
The only problem is -
we will all go through the fire first -
in order for humanity to see
that only God's Plan will work.
The world's destiny
is a New World Order.
The very phrase sends many people
into conniptions.
True -
the League of Nations failed
and the UN is failing
to bring peace to the world.
I wish that I could tell you -
that the next attempt will be successful -
that it will not have the seeds of failure
built into it -
as did those two previous organizations.
There are many views
about what the NWO
will or should be like.
The Communists have a view -
the Islamists have a view -
the Neo-cons have a view -
the Fundamentalist Christians have a view.
The only view that counts -
is God's view,
and there is little need
in my trying to tell you
what I understand that to be -
because you already have your view.
Not that I understand
God's Plan in detail -
but in the long run
it is that humanity will live
in unity and peace
with justice for all
and under conditions that will promote
its spiritual growth.
That won't happen overnight.
Indeed it may take centuries.
But -
it is path that we must move down -
and each of us has the choice
whether we are going to help remove
the boulders and potholes along that path
or whether we are ourselves
going to be another one of the obstacles.
----------------
While we see the overall destiny -
the goal of the trip down the line -
it is important to note
the road immediately ahead.
1. UNIFIL is moving into Lebanon with
Muslim countries eager to play a role
(against Israel).
2. European countries are reluctantly saying
they will participate -
but that they won't disarm Hezbollah.
3. A real UN consensus for solution
will be vetoed by one side or the other.
4. Iran and Syria will continue
to press the boundaries in attempting
to further arm Hezbollah.
5. Iran will continue to press on
just as hard and fast as it can
with its nuke plans.
6. The US will remain bogged down by
public opinion
Pentagon reluctance
Iraq civil war
upcoming elections.
7. Russia and China
will continue to support Iran.
8. Hamas will continue to be a disturbance
in the Gaza.
9. Hezbollah will consolidate its forces
in Lebanon.
10. Political-opinion and political-will
in Israel
will become more and more tenuous.
----------
Two questions.
One: Will the situation improve for Israel?
Two: Can Israel continue to let the above
ten realities proceed along.
The answer is No!
Consequently -
an alternative path
will have to be followed by Israel -
and very soon.
The longer Israel waits -
the more unified forces can become against it.
The longer Israel waits -
the more that Hezbollah can regroup.
The longer Israel waits -
the further Iran will develop its nukes.
The longer Israel waits -
the more likely that some more unfavourable situation
can develop against it in the US.
Name what good things
Israel should see itself waiting for.
---------
But -
these are just Bruce's views.
Some people think
Iran only wants nukes for peaceful purposes.
Others think
that even if Iran gets its nukes together
that the MAD doctrine would keep it from using them.
Some people think
that Israel is incapable of taking on Iran
and that Israel knows that.
Others think
that God will never allow nuclear WW3 to happen.
Some people think
that the world will just go on
from day to day
as it has in the past.
Others think
that Jesus will come down on a cloud
or that they will go up on one to Him.
----------
But Bruce thinks -
nuclear WW3 -
very soon.
So -
busy, busy, busy with Ark Two.
Inviting all who will assist him -
to come as soon as possible.
Different strokes -
for different folks.
You pays your money -
and you makes your choice.
Not that there is any payment
for participating in the Ark -
because there isn't.
Certainly few have chosen
as I have.
Most don't think as I do.
Perhaps -
some don't think at all.
But -
what is important to you -
is what it is that YOU think.
Peace and love,
Bruce
